BARBIE : PINK IS NEW BORING

The movie is all about Barbie. Barbie is a toy for kids. The movie is about Barbie, Barbie's world and her journey from being happy and living a monotonous life to searching for and realizing herself. But a movie has some good and some bad elements.

GREAT IDEA OF BARBIE WORLD, IMAGINATION AND CASTING

• Graphics & Art Direction: The graphics of Barbie world, usage of pink, everything from Barbie's waking up from the bed to her sleeping in at night, and in between the job, costumes, house, the other Barbies, friends of Barbie, their jobs, kitchenware, bathroom; everything was on point. Barbie is drinking from a cup, but nothing is in it. It looks like a play. There is a beach and ocean, but the water looks like a cardboard drawing. That is an amazing art direction.

  
  
  
  

•  Kens: The Kens are the greatest. Ken's realization of his worth in the real world, that's a good part.

• Make-up and costumes: No one can beat it. Even in the real world, Barbie and Ken dress up like toys. Their make-up, even in the real world with roller skates, is something else.

• Casting and acting: just wow. Margot Robbie as a stereotypical Barbie, Ryan Gosling as Ken and Kate McKinnon as a weird Barbie are the perfect casting. Crazy Barbie: Children sometimes play harshly with toys. And Kate McKinnon nailed that part. All the actors played their part very well.

• Storyline: The basic storyline is good and fun. Barbie's feelings depend on whatever her owner's feelings are. The realization Barbie had was that she was just stereotypical and nothing else except a toy. Ken's realization of his worth and Barbie's realization of her worth.

DOWNHILL FROM GREAT & GRAND ENTRANCE TO WALK OF WEAKNESS

• The way Barbie treats her boyfriend Ken. People are treated better than the passersby.

• EVERY NIGHT IS GIRLS NIGHT! Even girls get tired of not just other girls but people in general.

• The passage between the Barbie world and the real world. 😵‍💫

• Mattel: There is no woman on the board of Mattel. Although the creator was a woman, even in reality.

• The ways of Barbies are taking their world back from Kens.

• The Kens are also part of the Barbie world, but they don't have anything or any part in the Barbie world. Although all Kens are divers or something related to the beach, they don't have other jobs!

• Ken realized his worth but turned 100% opposite! Learning PETRIARCHY but demeaning and dismantling the Barbie world overnight!
